The Pure Water Online 5 Stage Reverse Osmosis Water Filter is the Rolls Royce of Water Filters! It produces extremely high quality purified water. The reverse osmosis process separates suspended and dissolved solids to waste and produces high purity water. It includes the reduction of salts (chlorides etc.), metals, hardness, chemicals, chlorine, turbidity and taste as well as odour.
It is a complete system with all components supplied including the unit, pre filter, storage tank and dispensing faucet. An automatic shut off valve conveniently shuts down the incoming water when the tank is full. The tank holds approx. 12 litres of water. The Pure Water Online 5 Stage Reverse Osmosis Water Filter will efficiently and effectively remove impurities in the water including rust, scale and dirt as well as chlorine, most chemicals (herbicides and pesticides) and harmful bacteria such as Crytosporidium and Giardia.
The 1st stage is the pre-filter and removes physical particles and sedimentsuch as dirt, rust, grit and algae.
The 2nd stage is another pre-filter and removes chlorine, pesticide and insecticide residue as well as heavy metals such as lead, mercury and zinc.
The 3nd stage is for ultra filtration and filters chemicals and odours out of the water supply by using a genuine TFC 75 gpd Dow Filmtec Membrane for approx 300 litres of pure water a day and a low waste ratio of approx 1 – 1. The Dow filmtek membrane effectively rejects and repels all contaminants over two thousandths of a micron such as fluoride, sodium chloride, calcium, heavy metals, chemicals, and foreign organic compounds.
FLUORIDE is only able to be removed through the REVERSE OSMOSIS PURIFICATION PROCESS.
The 4th Stage eliminates bad taste, odours and removes chemicals and pesticides such as chlorine, chloramine and trihalomethane. It also removes cysts and bacteria such as giardia and cryptosporidium and gives the water a final polish and clean before drinking.
The 5th Stage is a PI Alkaline Water Filter which is used to add all the good minerals and calcium ions back into the water as well as energising the water and removing harmful ions.
